sureph Privacy Policy – How We Handle Your Personal Data

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data sureph collects from Philippine members, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over your own information under Philippine data privacy law.

Effective date: 2025

This policy applies to all sureph members in the Philippines

By registering on sureph or continuing to use the platform after this policy has been published, you acknowledge that you have read and understood how sureph handles your personal data. If anything in this policy is unclear, contact our support team through the member area before continuing to use the platform.

1. Who We Are

sureph ("sureph", "we", "us", or "our") operates the online gaming and sports betting platform accessible at sureph.best. sureph is the data controller responsible for the personal information collected from members who register and use the platform.

As the data controller, sureph determines the purposes and means by which personal data is collected and processed. This Privacy Policy describes the full scope of those decisions and explains your rights in relation to the personal data we hold about you.

sureph is designed for and primarily serves members in the Philippines. The processing of personal data by sureph is conducted with reference to the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act 10173) and its implementing rules and regulations, alongside any applicable supplementary regulations issued by the National Privacy Commission (NPC).

2. Personal Data We Collect

sureph collects personal data through several channels: directly from you during registration and account use, automatically through your interactions with the platform, and from third parties involved in payment processing and identity verification. Data you are not required to provide

Certain data fields are optional at registration. Members who provide incomplete data may find that certain platform functions — particularly the withdrawal cashier — are not fully accessible until the required data is supplied.

3. How sureph Uses Your Personal Data

sureph uses personal data collected from Philippine members for the following purposes:

  • Account creation and management — setting up your member account, verifying your identity, maintaining accurate account records and processing changes to your account settings.
  • Payment processing — verifying that deposits originate from accounts in your name, processing withdrawal requests to your verified GCash, Maya, BDO, BPI, UnionBank or card accounts, and maintaining a complete transaction history in PHP ₱.
  • Service delivery — providing access to the sureph sportsbook, games library, bingo rooms, VIP Club and all other platform features; processing bets and settling results; applying promotions and bonuses to eligible accounts.
  • Compliance with legal and regulatory obligations — verifying member age and identity in accordance with Philippine gaming regulations; conducting anti-money laundering checks; responding to lawful requests from Philippine regulatory authorities; maintaining transaction records for the legally required retention period.
  • Responsible gaming monitoring — reviewing account activity to identify patterns that may indicate problem gambling behaviour; administering deposit limits, cooling-off periods and self-exclusion requests; contacting members where sureph has a responsible gaming duty to do so.
  • Security and fraud prevention — detecting and preventing unauthorised account access, duplicate account creation, payment fraud and other security threats; investigating suspicious activity; protecting the integrity of the platform and all sureph members.
  • Member communications — responding to support queries, sending account notifications (deposit confirmations, withdrawal updates, security alerts), and where you have provided consent, sending promotional communications about sureph offers and features.
  • Platform improvement — analysing aggregated, anonymised usage data to understand how Philippine members interact with sureph and to improve the platform's performance, game library and sportsbook coverage.

sureph will not use your personal data for any purpose that is incompatible with the purposes listed above without notifying you and, where required, obtaining your consent.

5. Data Sharing

sureph does not sell your personal data to third parties. We share personal data only in the following circumstances and only to the extent necessary for the stated purpose:

Payment processors and financial service providers

When you make a deposit or submit a withdrawal request, your payment details are shared with the relevant Philippine payment service provider — GCash, Maya, GrabPay, Coins.ph, BDO, BPI, UnionBank, Visa, Mastercard or other accepted processors — to complete the transaction. These providers process your data under their own privacy policies and applicable Philippine financial regulations.

Identity verification services

To fulfil age and identity verification requirements under Philippine gaming regulations, sureph may share document data (copies of government-issued ID) with third-party verification service providers. These providers are bound by data processing agreements that restrict use of your data to identity verification purposes only.

Regulatory and law enforcement authorities

sureph will disclose personal data to Philippine government agencies, regulatory bodies and law enforcement authorities where required by applicable law, court order or lawful regulatory request. sureph will not disclose data beyond what is legally required.

Technology and platform service providers

sureph uses third-party providers for hosting, security monitoring, customer support infrastructure and analytics. These providers access data only to provide services to sureph and are contractually prohibited from using sureph member data for any other purpose.

Corporate transactions

In the event of a merger, acquisition or sale of the sureph business or a material part of its assets, member personal data may be transferred to the acquiring entity as part of that transaction. Members will be notified of any such transfer and the identity of the new data controller before it takes effect.

sureph

6. Data Retention

sureph retains personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including satisfying legal, regulatory, accounting and reporting obligations. The general retention periods applied by sureph are:

  • Identity and verification documents: retained for the full period of account activity plus a minimum period after account closure as required by Philippine gaming and anti-money laundering regulations.
  • Financial transaction records: retained for the period required by Philippine financial record-keeping regulations applicable to gaming operators, typically a minimum of five years from the date of the transaction.
  • Account activity and betting history: retained for the duration of account activity and for a defined period after account closure for dispute resolution, regulatory audit and responsible gaming purposes.
  • Support communications: retained for as long as relevant to the resolution of the original query and for a defined period thereafter for quality and compliance review.
  • Marketing consent records: retained until consent is withdrawn and for a period thereafter as evidence of the consent status.

When personal data is no longer required for the purposes above, sureph will securely delete or anonymise it in accordance with standard data disposal practices. Anonymised data — data from which all identifying information has been permanently removed — may be retained indefinitely for platform analytics purposes.

Closing your account does not erase all data immediately

When you close your sureph account, data required by Philippine law for regulatory, financial and responsible gaming compliance is retained for the legally mandated period. Data not subject to a legal retention requirement is deleted or anonymised within a reasonable period after account closure.

7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

sureph uses cookies and similar technologies on the sureph.best website to support platform functionality, security, analytics and, where consent has been given, personalisation and marketing attribution.

Types of cookies used

  • Essential cookies — required for the platform to function. These include session authentication cookies that keep you logged in while you are using sureph, security tokens and cookies that maintain your cashier session during a deposit or withdrawal. Essential cookies cannot be disabled without preventing core platform functions from working.
  • Functional cookies — remember your preferences such as language settings, display preferences and last-used cashier method. Disabling these cookies means your preferences will not be saved between sessions.
  • Analytics cookies — used to understand how Philippine members navigate sureph, which pages are visited most frequently and how the platform performs on different devices. Analytics data is aggregated and does not identify individual members in the output reports used by sureph.
  • Marketing cookies — only placed where you have given consent. These cookies support attribution of account registrations to the marketing channel that referred you to sureph, allowing sureph to measure the effectiveness of promotional activity.

Managing cookies

You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings. Most modern browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. Note that disabling essential cookies will prevent you from logging into your sureph account. For mobile access on Android and iOS, browser cookie settings in your device's browser app apply to your sureph session on that device.

8. Your Data Privacy Rights

Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012, sureph members have the following rights in relation to their personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact sureph support through the member area with your request and the relevant details.

Right to be informed You have the right to know that sureph is collecting and processing your personal data, the purposes of that processing, and the legal basis on which it is conducted — all of which are described in this Privacy Policy.
Right to access You may request a copy of the personal data sureph holds about you. sureph will provide this within a reasonable timeframe and in a format you can read, subject to verification of your identity.
Right to rectification If any personal data sureph holds about you is inaccurate or out of date, you have the right to request correction. Account details that affect payment processing — name, mobile number, linked payment accounts — can be updated through sureph support.
Right to erasure You may request deletion of your personal data where it is no longer necessary for the purposes it was collected and no legal retention obligation applies. Note that financial and identity data subject to regulatory retention requirements cannot be erased before the required period has elapsed.
Right to object You may object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interests or for direct marketing purposes. Where you object to marketing, sureph will stop sending promotional communications immediately. Where you object to other processing, sureph will review and respond with its decision and the reasons for it.
Right to data portability Where processing is carried out by automated means and based on your consent or a contract, you may request a copy of your data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.
Right to file a complaint If you believe sureph has not handled your personal data in accordance with the Philippine Data Privacy Act, you have the right to file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (NPC) of the Philippines. sureph encourages members to contact us first so we can address the concern directly.

sureph will respond to data rights requests within the timeframe required by the Philippine Data Privacy Act. Identity verification may be required before any request is fulfilled to ensure data is not disclosed to or amended by an unauthorised party.

9. Data Security

sureph implements technical and organisational security measures appropriate to the nature and volume of personal data processed. These measures are designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, destruction and accidental loss.

Security measures applied by sureph include encrypted data transmission using HTTPS across all platform pages and API connections, access controls that limit data access to staff and systems with a need to process it, regular security reviews and monitoring for unusual account or system activity, and data processing agreements with third-party service providers that specify minimum security standards.

No online system can guarantee absolute security. sureph takes all reasonable precautions but cannot warrant that personal data will never be accessed without authorisation. In the event of a personal data breach that poses a risk to member rights, sureph will notify affected members and report the breach to the National Privacy Commission in accordance with the Data Privacy Act breach notification requirements.

Members are responsible for maintaining the security of their own sureph login credentials. Do not share your password with any person, including people claiming to be sureph staff. sureph will never ask for your password through any communication channel. If you suspect your account has been accessed without your knowledge, contact sureph support immediately through the member area.

10. Children and Minors

sureph is strictly an adults-only platform. No person below the minimum legal age for online gaming under Philippine law may register or use the sureph platform. sureph does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone who does not meet the legal age requirement.

Age verification is a mandatory part of the sureph registration and withdrawal process. If sureph becomes aware that a member account was registered by a person below the legal age, the account will be immediately suspended, any balance will be returned to the payment source where possible, and any wagering or gaming activity conducted through the account will be voided.

If you believe a minor has registered on sureph or has access to an adult member's account, contact sureph support immediately through the member area so the situation can be investigated and the account secured.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

sureph reviews and updates this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in the platform, applicable Philippine law, and data privacy best practices. When material changes are made, the effective date at the top of this page will be updated and, where the change significantly affects how member data is used, sureph will notify registered members through the platform or by email.

Continued use of sureph after a revised Privacy Policy has been published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree with changes to the Privacy Policy, you should stop using sureph and contact support to discuss your account options, including account closure and data deletion where applicable.

Minor editorial clarifications that do not change the substance of data processing practices may be made without specific member notification but will always be reflected in the updated effective date on this page.

12. Contact Us

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, want to exercise any of your data privacy rights, or need to report a data security concern, contact the sureph data privacy team through the following channels:

  • In-platform support: Log in to your sureph account and use the support contact feature in the member area. This is the fastest channel for account-specific data requests as the team can verify your identity directly.
  • Email: support@sureph.best — for data rights requests and privacy queries, include your registered account email address and a clear description of your request.

sureph aims to respond to all data privacy queries within the timeframe required by the Philippine Data Privacy Act. Complex requests — such as full data subject access requests — may take the full statutory period to prepare. sureph will acknowledge receipt of your request promptly and keep you informed of progress.

National Privacy Commission

Philippine members who believe their data rights have been violated and have not received a satisfactory response from sureph may file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission of the Philippines. sureph encourages members to contact us first to give us the opportunity to resolve the concern directly and promptly.

Privacy in practice

What sureph's data practices mean for you as a Philippine member

The Privacy Policy above sets out the full legal picture. Here is what those practices mean day-to-day for members using sureph.

sureph

Your GCash and Maya details are never shared for marketing

sureph shares financial details — GCash, Maya, bank account info — only with the payment processors needed to complete your specific transaction. No other party receives your payment account details, and sureph does not use them for any purpose other than processing your deposit or withdrawal.

sureph

Responsible gaming monitoring is done to protect you

When sureph reviews your account activity for responsible gaming purposes — checking deposit frequency, session lengths or betting patterns — it is done to identify if you might need support, not to profile you for commercial purposes. This monitoring is conducted under sureph's responsible gaming obligations and is a protection, not a surveillance measure.

sureph

You can ask what data sureph holds at any time

Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act, any sureph member can request a copy of the personal data the platform holds about them. The request goes through the member area or by email to support@sureph.best, and sureph will process it within the statutory timeframe. You do not need to give a reason for making the request.

Member rights

Privacy rights every sureph member in the Philippines has

These rights apply to all sureph members under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012. No member needs to be a lawyer to exercise them — just contact support.

Know what is collected

You have the right to know exactly what personal data sureph holds about you, why it was collected and how it is being used. This Privacy Policy is sureph's primary answer to that right — and you can ask for more detail at any time through the member area.

Fix incorrect data

If sureph has your name, address, mobile number or any other detail wrong, you have the right to have it corrected. Contact support with your correct information and sureph will update the record. Keeping your data accurate also avoids delays when withdrawing in PHP ₱.

Withdraw marketing consent

If you agreed to receive promotional messages from sureph and no longer want them, you can withdraw that consent at any time through your account settings or by contacting support. Withdrawal of marketing consent does not affect your ability to use the sureph platform.

Get a copy of your data

You can request a copy of the personal data sureph holds about you in a readable format. This includes your account details, transaction history and any communications data. The request is processed through the sureph member area or by email to support@sureph.best.

Object to certain processing

Where sureph is processing your data on the basis of legitimate interests and you believe your rights outweigh that interest, you can object. sureph will review the objection and respond with a decision. For marketing data processing, an objection is always upheld without needing a reason.

File a complaint with the NPC

If you feel sureph has not handled your data rights properly and sureph's response has not resolved the issue, you have the right to file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission of the Philippines. sureph asks members to contact us first to give us the chance to fix it directly.
